Area 8

“	The area where the mutants set up their stronghold is inside the body of a gargantuan mutant. SOPHIA III must blast through the toughest mutant spawn yet to make it to the lord of the all mutants.”

Area 8 is the final area of Blaster Master and Blaster Master: Enemy Below, and the nominal final area of Blaster Master Zero. A hivelike labyrinth of unnerving tissues and other organic components, this literal breeding ground of the mutant scourge is staffed by the most simplistic of enemies yet boasts the most treacherous terrain, challenging the player with tight jumps lined with assorted spiky hazards and swarms of mutant annoyances.

In Blaster Master Zero, this area is called the "Mutant's Inner Body Area" in-game and "Inside the Giant Mutant" on the website; it is characterized as the innards of the previously defeated Skeleton Boss.

Area 8 is connected to Area 3 in Blaster Master and Area 2 in Blaster Master: Enemy Below, requiring the Wall 2 Operation Mode to access; in Blaster Master Zero, it is connected to Area 7, and can be accessed simply by defeating Skeleton Boss.
