Planetoid D-4 is a location in Blaster Master Zero 2. It is the fourth planetoid in Area D (excluding Planetoid ???).

General Information[]

Planetoid D-4 is unlocked after obtaining Planetoid Map D-4 on Planetoid D-1. Planetoid D-4 is the fourth top-down planetoid; it consists of three rooms. The first room features three different pathways for the player to take; the bottom path is already open, whereas the top and right paths require using Sub-weapons to destroy the walls blocking them.

The room below the starting room only features mutants, and no items; it is simply a dead end.

The room above the starting room is hinted at by viewing the map from the sub-screen; the map reveals a path upward, despite the wall not appearing cracked, which indicates it can be destroyed. Going upward leads to a room with three Cross Cannons. Going left from there leads to a room with five blue Orb Turrets and Map D.

The room to the right of the starting room is hinted at by viewing the map from the sub-screen; the map reveals a path to the right, despite the wall not appearing cracked, which indicates it can be destroyed; this one, however, is more obvious, as it is a thin blue wall in the way, with empty space behind it. Going right leads to a room with two Sentries. Going right from there leads to a room with a Life Up.
